Poly's Summer Academic Program offers courses in a wide variety of academic subjects at a range of levels. The classes are designed to help students strengthen basic and advanced skills in preparation for the academic year ahead. Instructors will review and expand on material students have already studied, and will help them explore new creative and intellectual avenues. Unless otherwise noted, courses may be taken for credit by students who must make up a class. The instructors are Poly faculty members.

Attendance Policy
Students are required to attend every class during the summer academic program session. We allow only one absence during the four-week program. A student who misses more than one class risks not receiving credit for the course in which he or she is enrolled. If a student will be absent, a parent must call the Summer Academic Program Office by 9:00 AM.

Application
A student not enrolled at Poly must submit a copy of his or her present school transcript along with the attached registration form. Students who are taking courses for credit must indicate that fact on their registration forms.

Evaluation
Grades will be awarded in all courses taken for credit and will be accompanied by a written evaluation from the teacher. Reports can be sent to other schools upon request.
