Dear Parents,

For more than 35 years, Poly Prep has offered a summer day camp program unrivaled in New York City. On our 25-acre campus, children participate in activities ranging from swimming to softball, from cookouts to ceramics, from picnics by the ponds to performances on stage.

Our program is unique. With a variety of separate camps, every family and every child can find the right mix of programs to suit their summer schedules and their individual interests. The programs are designed to challenge, engage, and entertain each child and—most importantly—to provide a safe place for discovery, learning, and creativity to blossom. At Poly Prep, students can hone skills in activities they already love, and they can explore in depth new interests and possibilities.

Poly Prep Summer 2008 offers families an outstanding alternative to sleep-away camps: Children have enough room to run, swim, and play independently. Each day, children find time to relax and chat with friends outside and to play and work hard. Our state-of-the-art performing arts, technology, and athletics facilities enable us to attract a skilled and caring staff of professional educators and artists. The caliber of offerings is unsurpassed.

We hope to see you by the ponds this summer.

Steven W. Andersen
Associate Head of School
