We, the duly elected members of the Association Board of Governors actively encourage participation in the Poly community through our work and our financial support. We are dedicated to enhancing the strong bonds and good will alumni feel for Poly by establishing programs that enable alumni to support and remain a part of the Poly community.

Networking and Mentoring: We invite alumni to share their success and professional knowledge with younger alumni and with students. We do this by facilitating meetings throughout the calendar year targeted at specific constituencies. Our hope is that meaningful mentor relationships will result from these gatherings.

Fundraising: As board members, we participate by giving to the best of our own ability and also by soliciting gifts from alumni and friends for the Annual Fund and capital campaigns. The most significant fundraisers that we help support are Special Reunion and the annual Alumni Golf Outing.

Awards: We are responsible for finding out about the accomplishments of our alumni and then choosing the individuals who will be awarded the Distinguished Achievement and Spirit Awards annually.

Special Events: We actively participate in, promote, and attend events such as Homecoming and Special Reunion Day. We sponsor cocktail parties, breakfasts, lunches, and seminars where alumni can gather and reminisce about their shared experiences at Poly.
