More than 150 young soccer players from around the city join a talented staff of top coaches and players each summer for an unforgettable week of learning and fun. The Poly Prep Soccer Camp has become the biggest and best place for summer soccer in the city. The program includes top-notch instruction, as well as fun and competitive games, special guests, and a skills contest at the end of the week.

Soccer Camp Staff
In 2010, Gerry Stone enters his twenty-fourth season as the head boys’ varsity soccer coach at Poly Prep, where he teaches English and serves as a Form VI Dean. Gerry’s Poly team has recently played better than ever. They've compiled a record of 35 wins, 6 losses, and 1 tie over the past two seasons, and they've won the NYSAISAA Tournament Championship in 2007 and 2008. He was a staff coach for Sporting Club Gjoa, a local Bay Ridge soccer club, for ten years and also coached the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League’s select teams for several summers. Stone holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and an “A” License from the United States Soccer Federation. |
