Being able to support families with tuition costs is central to Poly Prep’s mission and helps ensure access for students who would not otherwise be able to attend.

Tuition Assistance Makes a Poly Prep Education Possible

Our tuition assistance program makes a Poly Prep education possible for families based on demonstrated financial need and available resources.

For the 2026-2027 school year, more than 24% of students received over $14.5 million in financial aid.

We use the Clarity Application to assess financial need based on information families provide, including income, assets, expenses, and debts.

Who Qualifies

Each year, we are able to support a portion of families who qualify for aid, though demand exceeds available funding.

Financial aid is based solely on demonstrated need. We do not offer merit-based scholarships for academic, athletic, or extracurricular achievement.

Families applying to any grade may submit a financial aid application through Clarity.

How to Apply for Tuition Assistance

Step 1: Start the Clarity Application

Clarity secure, mobile-friendly, and designed to make the process straightforward. It automatically uploads tax documents, so no manual upload is required.

• Create an account in Clarity
• Complete the application (typically under 30 minutes)
• Save and return at any time

Support resources are available within the platform, including step-by-step guidance.

Step 2: Submit Your Clarity Application and Answer Any Follow-Ups from Clarity

Once complete, submit your application through Clarity.

Clarity will ask for information about your family’s finances, including income, savings and investments, monthly expenses, debts, and tax information. It also securely connects to your tax documents to help reduce manual uploads.

Clarity uses this information to create a financial profile that schools use to understand a family’s ability to contribute toward tuition. This helps ensure that financial aid decisions are consistent and based on comparable information across all applicants.

Please note that Poly does not offer application fee waivers. Eligibility is determined automatically through Clarity based on the information provided.

Step 3:  Poly Financial Aid Committee Reviews Completed Applications

Our Financial Aid Committee reviews each completed application as part of the admissions process.

We first consider the admissions decision, and then review a family’s financial information to determine what level of support, if any, is possible based on demonstrated need and available funding.

We look at the full financial picture provided in Clarity, along with supporting documents, to understand what a family is able to contribute toward tuition. There is no single formula; each award reflects a holistic review of individual circumstances.

Each financial aid award is unique and based on both demonstrated need and available resources.

Step 4: Tuition Assistance Notification Timing

Families receive financial aid decisions at the same time as admissions decisions, in accordance with ISAAGNY notification dates.

Tuition Assistance Application Deadlines

Financial aid applications for the 2027-2028 school year open September 8, 2026 in Clarity.

• Returning families: November 2, 2026
• New families: December 15, 2026

Applications submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
