Poly Prep Admissions

Wait List FAQs

List of 7 items.

  • 1. How do I remain on the wait list?

  • 2. What does it mean to be on our waitlist?

At this time, we do not have enough spaces in each grade level to accommodate all of the qualified students who apply, therefore some students are on our waitlist.  We will regularly review the number of signed and submitted contracts to gauge whether we can admit students from our waitlist.
  • 3. How will I be notified if my child is offered a space?

We will call you directly to notify you right away if we are able to offer a space from our wait list.
  • 4. What are my child’s chances of coming off the waitlist and being offered admission?

The multiplicity of factors we consider makes this question impossible to answer. We do not keep a ranked waitlist, but rather we review the up-to-date enrollment of each class as well as reviewing all students on the waitlist before offering admission.
  • 5. When will I learn more information about a decision?

There are some admissions seasons when we learn more within a few days, and some seasons when we learn more within a few months. Students can come off of the waitlist at any time throughout the spring and summer, but even if Poly Prep is your first choice for a school, we recommend that you make a secure enrollment plan for your child for September.
  • 6. Do you need additional information from us at this time?

We would very much like to know if you wish to remain on our waitlist. Please complete this form if you have not already done so. We do not need any additional materials at this time.
  • 7. What should we do if we no longer wish to remain on the waitlist?

If you’d like to be removed from our waitlist or if you decide to accept an offer from another school, we would be very grateful if you would let us know
