Grandparents and Grown-up Friends Day will be held at the Lower School on Friday, May 10.
For those of you new to Poly, we invite grandparents or a special friend to the Lower School for part of the morning. We start with coffee, tea, juice, bagels, and other nosh in the dining room, and then the guests go to the Big Room for a performance by the children. They then head to the individual homerooms for one-on-one activities with their grandchildren/special friends.
Our goal is to have each child have at least one guest present. If a grandparent isn’t available, an aunt, uncle, neighbor, coach, rabbi, priest, or caregiver can serve.
For the children in Nursery through Kindergarten, the event runs from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM. For the children in Grades One through Four, we will host our guests from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM. If you have any questions, please contact Pat Harrigan P'01.
