For more than two and a half decades, one of Poly Prep’s treasured and cherished traditions has been the Ancient Civilizations Festival, an interdisciplinary celebration of the ancient world. This year’s Grade 6 celebration will be held on Friday, March 15, at 11 AM. There are two parts to the festival; the first piece, sponsored by the Performing Arts Department, will focus on various ancient civilizations, while the rest of the program will include an academic presentation of the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, China, South Asia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
Your child's involvement in the artistic portion of this event is dependent upon which Arts Core he/she is enrolled in for the trimester.
11:00 AM - Performances in the Richard Perry Theatre
Directly following performances - Exhibition in Legacy Gym where students will be presenting their history projects. Work from English, math, science, and health classes will also be on display.
