Shiphunt: Engineering Camp
For children entering Grades 5 through 8
Tuition (lunch and snack included): $695Weeks Available: June 18 (Grades 7 through 8) and June 25 (Grades 5 through 6)
Recover the U.S.S. Poly from the bottom of the ocean! In this program, campers learn to build a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) that will be used in a shiphunt. Young engineers use logic, problem-solving, and trial and error while designing, constructing, painting, and testing their fully functional aquatic robot. Campers personalize their final product through decoration; test it during an underwater obstacle course in the Poly pool, and design an advertisement that showcases the features of their vehicle.
