September PA Happenings
Welcome to the start of another school year. The Poly Parents' Association is here to help connect parents to each other and to the school. We hope you'll participate as you are able and be in touch with your PA representatives with questions, concerns and ideas. We are looking forward to a great year together. Please note the following Parent/Guardian opportunities in September :
Thursday, September 5, 5-8 PM:
All-School Welcome Back BBQ (Dyker Heights campus). Held on the Oval at Dyker Heights, this is a great opportunity to visit with and meet other Poly parents/guardians, Poly faculty, staff, and students in a casual fun evening. Come kick off the new year with us.
Friday, September 6, 8:30 AM:
Lower School Open Parents' Association Meeting (Park Slope campus): All parents are invited to this open meeting, held monthly, to learn about and help plan events and activities related to the Lower School. Volunteers are always needed and it's a great way to meet other Poly parents/guardians.
Thursday, September 12, 7:15 PM:
Grades N-K Parent Cocktail Party following Back to School Night (Park Slope campus): Come learn what your child's year has in store and then enjoy visiting with other parents/guardians over light refreshments.

Grades 1-4 Parent Cocktail Party following Back to School Night (Park Slope campus): Come learn what your child's year has in store and then enjoy visiting with other parents/guardians over light refreshments.
Thursday, September 26, 6:00 PM:
All-School State of the School with Audrius Barzdukas, preceding Upper School Curriculum Night (Dyker Heights campus). All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the Annual State of the School with the Head of School who will present on Poly's new Strategic Plan. Light refreshments will be available. Afterward, the Upper School will host its Curriculum Night at 7:00 PM.

September 18 at 8:30 AM & September 19 at 4:30 PM: DESJ Blook Club Conversations
September 19 and 20: Sixth graders attend "Camp Poly"
September 26, 8:45 AM: Equity Coffee at Park Slole campus
September 30: All School is closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah
