Head of Middle School Andre Del Valle P’29, ’33 came to Poly in 2019 from the George Jackson Academy, an independent school in Manhattan for grades 4-8. He joined their faculty as a teacher in 2004, became Assistant Head of School in 2007, and rose to Head of School in 2015. Andre graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s in political science and psychology, and he holds two master’s degrees from Pace University with concentrations in educational administration and teaching.
Andre’s wife, Andrea, teaches Grade 3 at Poly’s Lower School. If you’ve met Andre, then you know he is deeply committed to our community and the mission of our school.
