Lauren Bonaventura Sorrento has been working in the Advancement office at Poly since 2018 and currently serves as Director of Advancement Services. Lauren holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in accounting from Saint John’s University. After college, Lauren pursued a career in auditing at an accounting firm in Brooklyn specializing in nonprofits. Before joining Poly, Lauren worked in the Institutional Advancement & External Affairs Office at City University of New York-College of Staten Island as both Development Coordinator and then Finance Coordinator. Prior to that, Lauren managed continuing education programs at Hunter College.
