Arts for Arts Celebration is March 11, 2023
UPDATE: Work on the Poly Arts Center continues apace with the completion of the foundation and the installation of the steel girders. We look forward to a traditional “topping off” ceremony later this month.
Poly Dance, Theater, Music, and the Visual Arts program will achieve next-level excellence in the new Arts Center, designed to provide much-needed space and resources. The capital project will establish the multipurpose Dance Studio, construct a new Lobby Gallery, adjacent to the entrance of the Richard Perry Theatre, for student and professional exhibitions, and build an Instrumental Music Room that nearly doubles the size of the existing Band Room. Moreover, the completed PolyARTS Center will serve as a center for culture, creativity, and enriched partnerships with the Brooklyn arts community.
“A vibrant and contemporary arts education is essential to helping our students succeed as critical thinkers and global citizens.”
Michael Robinson, Head of Arts

“An important aspect of the theater program is that the students get to work side by side and collaborate with theater professionals, and get to experience a high level of theater production whether on stage or behind the scenes.”— David Higham '07, Performing Arts Faculty, Theater
