An exciting evening filled with support for the new Poly Arts Center

On March 11, 2023, the Poly community came together for our exciting Art for Arts Celebration to raise monies in support of the final phase of the $12 million, ten-year Arts Center construction campaign.

The Art for Arts Celebration brought together 320 parents, alumni, faculty and friends, transforming Novogratz Athletic Center into a gala venue for one night only. The evening featured cocktails, an art preview, dinner and live auction, followed by performances and dancing. More than $720,000 was raised through this event. All middle school students have an art requirement starting in the 5th grade. When completed, the Arts Center will elevate the facilities on our Middle and Upper School campus to match the teaching of our distinguished faculty. It will be a hub for art activities school-wide, occasionally involving the Lower School, and an artistic home for collaboration with professional artists and community organizations from Brooklyn. The Art Center will not only inspire our talented students, but also increase the value of Poly as an educational institution for future generations.
