WELCOME! We look forward to meeting you at our Fall events.
The Poly Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse team, which plays its home matches at the Steinberg Athletic Complex, competes in the Ivy Prep League. The Poly Prep Girls’ Lacrosse program consistently competes against some of the strongest teams in New York. With core foundations centered on discipline, hard work, and team cohesion, the players excel both individually and as a team. In recent years, Jessica Dahldorf ’12 (Northwestern), Grace Bell ’15 (Vanderbilt), Maggie Fort ‘19 (Fairfield), and Jordan Denaver ‘20 (Haverford) have carried their success to major collegiate programs. The Blue Devils are coached by Lisa Beltramello, a former player at Marquette University, coach at the University of Tampa, and current co-head coach for the Spanish National Women’s Lacrosse Team.

Education: Marquette University, BS, MA
A three-sport athlete in high school, Beltramello focused her energy on lacrosse after walking on to the program at Marquette University in Wisconsin. It’s a path that’s opened many doors for the Suffield, Connecticut, native; after graduating cum laude and earning her Master’s in Professional Studies, she went on to coach lacrosse at Marquette, the University of Tampa, and internationally, before joining Poly in 2018. Beltramello says of her team: “Their desire, work ethic, and attitude inspires me every day. It’s an honor and a privilege to coach the young women of Poly.” In 2019 Beltramello was named the Co-Head Coach of the Spanish Women’s National Lacrosse Team who qualified for the 2021 World Cup. “I wouldn’t have the opportunity to coach the Spanish national team if it weren’t for the support from the administration, staff, and, most importantly, my lacrosse team at Poly Prep. I cannot thank them all enough.”
