WELCOME! Our Preliminary Application for 2027-2028 school year will open on September 8.

Program Overview

Poly Prep golf is a highly competitive, mixed-competition program that trains and hosts matches just steps from the Dyker Heights Campus at Dyker Beach Golf Course. Head Coach Dr. Alex Carter, a former Alabama State University co-captain, emphasizes short-game mastery, sports psychology, and golf-specific fitness.

The program is built on three core pillars:

  • Developing student-athletes
  • Forging competitive golfers
  • Instilling a lifelong love for teamwork, camaraderie, and the sport

To elevate the program, Dr. Carter utilizes his expertise as a certified Titleist Performance Institute (Level 1 and Junior 2) instructor, partnering with Poly’s High Performance Lab to deliver a premier, year-round strength and conditioning protocol.
