All Blue Devil Night athletic contests and activities are canceled due to weather.

UPDATE 9/29/23: Due to weather related safety concerns on the roads, we will close school early today. We have canceled all Blue Devil Night festivities.

ATHLETIC CONTESTS:
All Varsity athletic contests are canceled.

LOWER SCHOOL UPDATE:
All after school and Blue Devil Night activities are canceled.

Buses will depart 30 minutes early; please arrive at your bus pick-up locations 30 minutes early.
In-person pick up: Lower School students may remain on campus through 3:30 PM, however we encourage families to begin pick up as early as 2:45 PM.

MIDDLE & UPPER SCHOOL UPDATE:
All after school Middle School activities are canceled.

All students must take their regularly scheduled bus route home. (Bus flexibility form/process is not available today.)
All buses will depart at 1:30 PM. Buses may arrive at drop-off locations approximately 2.5 hours earlier than scheduled, however these times will vary significantly in accordance with traffic patterns.
In-person pick up at Dyker Heights will be along 7th Avenue at 1:30 PM.

Go Poly Blue Devils! Find the action on the fields and courts starting at 4:15 PM. Bring your spirit and cheer on our student-athletes at the Steinberg Athletic Complex, soccer field, and Novogratz Center for Athletics. Make some noise!

4:30 PM – Varsity Girls’ Volleyball vs. Trinity
4:30 PM – Varsity Girls’ Tennis vs. Trinity – Canceled
5:30 PM – Varsity Girls’ Soccer vs. Trinity
7:00 PM – Varsity Football vs Rye Country Day

Blue Devil Night FAQs

Are there going to be 6PM buses?

No, there will be no 6:00 PM buses. Middle and Upper School students taking the bus must use the 4:00 PM schedule.
Could my Middle School student stay for the action?

All Middle School students should take the 4:00 PM buses home UNLESS their parent/guardian meets them at the event by 5:30 PM. Please complete this form if your student intends to stay. Because the event has been modified due to weather, we recommend Middle School students go home on the 4:00 PM bus.
Do I need to RSVP?

It’s helpful for our operations team to have an idea of how many people to expect. We won’t hold you to it, but if you’re thinking about coming, RSVP here.
Is parking available?

Parking on site is EXTREMELY limited. Street parking is available. We encourage public transportation or rideshares to campus.
What are the food options?

There will be select food options for the fans who wish to brave the elements!
Does food cost money and what are payment options?

Food is available for purchase on site. Payment can be made with cash or with digital options.
Oh no, it's raining. Is there a rain date?

This is a rain or shine event. In the event of inclement weather, some youth activities may be canceled.
Can I bring friends who don't go to Poly?

Yes, the more the merrier! We welcome friends and family to accompany you. Everyone coming to our campus is subject to our visitor policy.
