The new school year kicks off with an all-school, whole family event. Spend the evening with Poly friends and meet new ones. Let your children run, play, and make some noise.
Experience the best of the Poly community under the lights with a view of the Verrazzano that can’t be beat.
- 4:15 PM: High octane Varsity action begins
- 4:30 PM: Poly pop-up shop and food stalls open
- 7:00 PM: Grab a bleacher seat and get ready to cheer for Varsity Football
- 8:00 PM: Lower School’s Grade 4 spectacular halftime soccer match

Go Poly Blue Devils! Find the action on the fields and courts starting at 4:15 PM. Bring your spirit and cheer on our student-athletes at the Steinberg Athletic Complex, soccer field, the tennis courts, and Novogratz Center for Athletics. Make some noise!

Crazy Fun Activities
For our younger Blue Devil fans, we have a variety of family-friendly good times planned at Dyker! You can find all these activities on the Backfields starting at 4:30 PM!
- Not one, not two, but THREE inflatable bouncy rides! That’s a lot of bouncing.
- Face painting.
- Photo ops with Poly’s own Blue Devil mascots!

Do I need to RSVP?
It’s helpful for our operations team to have an idea of how many people to expect. We won’t hold you to it, but if you’re thinking about coming, RSVP here.

Is parking available?
Parking on site is EXTREMELY limited. Street parking is available. We encourage public transportation or rideshares to campus.

What are the food options?
There will be a variety of food vendors and choices, including Jase's BBQ, Smash Burger, and ice cream.

Does food cost money and what are payment options?
Food is available for purchase on site. Payment can be made with cash or with digital options.

Oh no, it's raining. Is there a rain date?
This is a rain or shine event. In the event of inclement weather, some youth activities may be moved into the Legacy Gym or canceled.

How can I buy Poly gear?
There will be a Poly swag pop-up store near the backfields/bleachers with special Blue Devil merch. Credit card or Venmo payment only.

Can I bring friends who don't go to Poly?
Yes, the more the merrier! We welcome friends and family to accompany you. Everyone coming to our campus is subject to our visitor policy.
