Go Poly Blue Devils! It’s a full day of action on the fields and courts starting at 9:30 AM. Bring your spirit and cheer on our student-athletes at the Steinberg Athletic Complex, the tennis courts, and Novogratz Center for Athletics.

  • 9:30 AM – Varsity Boys’ Soccer vs Dalton
  • 11:30 AM – Varsity Girls’ Soccer vs. Dalton
  • 1:00 PM – Varsity Girls’ Volleyball vs. Dalton

Boogie on down to the theater patio for our Performing Arts Showcase! From 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, you can take in the grace and strength of our talented students as we celebrate dance, music, and voice.

  • Celebrate 25 Years of Dance at Poly!
  • Dance, dance, dance like there’s no one watching (even though there might be) with our DJ providing the beats.

Fuggedaboutit. What’s a party without food and swag?! Check out the best BKNY Food Truck convoy near the Oval from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. What’s on the menu?  We’ve got BBQ, kid faves like chicken fingers and mac and cheese, ice cream, and snacks in the back fields. Cash or credit accepted at food trucks.

  • Eats: Korilla BBQ, Gorilla Cheese, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Jase BBQ, and more!

Spirit Week Revs Up Poly!

Spirit Week is a fun, long standing Poly tradition where students dress up for different theme days to generate excitement for Homecoming. Reminder: Poly Prep Dress Code applies during Spirit Week.

  • Tuesday, October 12: Pajama Day
    After a long weekend, ease into the school week in comfort!
  • Wednesday, October 13: Jersey Day
    No jersey? No problem. Wear a shirt celebrating your favorite musician or show!
  • Thursday, October 14: Decades Day
    Dig through a family member’s closet and don your best retro look!
  • Friday, October 15: Poly Gear/Spirit Day
    Show your School Spirit – face paint and hair-dye are encouraged!

Hey! What's the Visitor Policy for Coming to Campus?

Please note the following policy for in-person visits to our campuses:

  • Poly Prep’s campuses are accessible for fully vaccinated individuals aged 12+.
  • Visitors experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, including mild symptoms such as congestion should stay home.
  • All visitors must show proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination can be a NYS Excelsior Pass, a CDC vaccination card, or NYC’s COVID SAFE app.
  • All visitors must show a photo ID.
  • Unvaccinated children may accompany their vaccinated parents.
  • Masks must be worn at all times indoors.
  • Parents/guardians accompanied by unvaccinated children are responsible for ensuring that unvaccinated children maintain social distance (> 3 feet) from others while on campus.
