Marie Vizzotti worked as a substitute teacher at Poly Prep Lower School since 2019 and became an Associate Teacher in 2021. She was born and raised in New Jersey. Marie earned her bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies at Montclair State University. She is also receiving her certification in teaching Mindfulness from the Mindful Schools organization for Pre-K to grade 12 students. Marie has a passion for service learning and has five years of experience in community service organizations. Before coming to Poly Prep, she was involved in an AmeriCorps program called City Year. She tutored and facilitated after-school programs in an elementary school in East Harlem. Marie is dedicated to the academic, mental, and emotional development of all our wonderful students.
