Matthew Futterman, who joined Poly Prep in 2020, has been teaching physics since 2012. He earned his bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University in 2007, his Master of Science in mechanical engineering and biological engineering in 2001, and attended The New School toward his master in Fine Arts degree. Before Matthew became a teacher, he was an engineer. He never thought he’d become a teacher, but now cannot imagine a different career. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and painting.
