Registered Nurse Sara Siller joined Poly Prep in 2020 serving Lower School students at the Park Slope campus. In 2022, Sara became the Managing Nurse, based at the Dyker Heights campus. In this role, Sara manages the health clinic for the Middle and Upper Schools and oversees the Lower School nursing office.
Prior to joining Poly, Sara was a certified Chemotherapy infusion nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Passionate about finding successful treatments for cancer, she was selected as a research nurse for chemotherapy clinical trials; her data was published in oncology medical journals.
Sara earned her nursing degree from St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Staten Island, NY. She was inspired to become a nurse after receiving immense support from the nurses who cared for her father after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Sara resides in Staten Island with her husband Jared and their nine-year-old twins Mia and Kieran. Sara loves crafting and building intricate Lego sets in her spare time.
