Security officer Xerxes Vizcaino has helped keep Poly safe since 2008. In 2017, he moved from the Dyker campus to Park Slope. A lifelong Brooklynite, Xerxes says getting to know everyone is the best part of his role. By doing so, he says, it “creates trust and builds support—and that’s always a good thing when it comes to school safety.”
