Xerxes Vizcaino has been helping keep Poly safe since 2008. In 2017, he moved from the Dyker campus to Park Slope. In 2024, he became Assistant Director of Security. In this role, he collaborates with the security director in overseeing all campus safety and security operations. A lifelong Brooklynite, Xerxes says getting to know everyone is the best part of his role. By doing so, he says, it “creates trust and builds support—and that’s always a good thing when it comes to school safety.”
