Types of Gifts

Poly is fortunate to receive gifts to each of these areas below on a regular basis. If you would like additional information, we look forward to speaking with you.

• Unrestricted gifts toward annual giving provide Poly the greatest flexibility.
• Restricted gifts toward annual giving may be directed toward a specific program, or programs, at the donor’s discretion that are aligned with the priorities of the school.
• Campaign gifts occur from time to time and are regularly considered outside of annual giving.
• Endowment funds live in perpetuity, and while the principal remains intact and growing, a portion of the yearly income is used to support the operating budget or an area designated by the donor.
• Estate and planned gifts commonly support the Endowment and members are included in the Joseph Dana Allen Legacy Society.
• Financial Aid gifts may be made toward the current fiscal year or toward the endowment supporting financial aid.
