“In this picture, I was expressing my joy and excitement to be back on campus. I missed my teachers, friends, and dancing at Poly so much while we were in quarantine. Now that we’re back on campus, dancing is a lot different, but still as enjoyable as before.

“Having dance class outside is definitely very different… For me, tricks are the most fun part of dancing, so I wanted my dance pose to display this. For that reason, I chose to do a half-needle in my dance photo.”

“Having dance outside is definitely a new experience for me, but it’s quite refreshing. It pushes everyone to be more creative and think outside the box. Dance has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old and is one of the most important aspects of my life. I couldn’t imagine my life without dance!”
