Amy Lucero joined Poly’s Upper School dean team in 2025. Lucero brings eight years of experience in independent school education and leadership, serving at Bosque School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In her tenure there, she served as College Counselor and Registrar, co-taught college seminar classes, supported students through the college application process, and played a key role in course selection and scheduling. Highlights of her career include developing and teaching a humanities course on feminism and gender, mentoring student leaders, and sponsoring student affinity groups. In 2024, Lucero was promoted to Director of Admission and Enrollment Management, joining the leadership team and helping to shape school policy and culture.

Lucero holds a B.A. summa cum laude in Women and Gender Studies from Oregon State University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Eastern New Mexico University. Her diverse professional background includes work in operations, human resources, and marketing.

Lucero has a passion for travel, basketball, theater, and being a foodie around the city.
