Christian Morehouse started at Poly Prep in 2021 as a Middle School science teacher. He grew up in northern Connecticut, where he went to Wesleyan University majoring in dance and environmental studies. He moved to Brooklyn in 2012 to work in the aquarium and pet industry. Christian soon realized what he loved most about the job was sharing his passion of learning and wonder with others so he decided to pursue science education in 2014. He holds an MA in science education from Teachers College, Columbia University and, in 2020, began to pursue his PhD. In addition to education, he is interested in fishing, the outdoors, amphibians, and tropical plants.
