Math teacher Emily Liao’s love of mathematics was inspired by her father, a former college professor. Emily, who has taught Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB at Poly since 2016, says her students bring a seriousness to their studies and appreciate the beauty of calculus. When not teaching, Emily enjoys ballroom dancing and has danced competitively. She also hopes to become fully fluent in Chinese.
