Head Teacher Katherine Simon leads Nursery C after joining Poly Prep in 2019 as an associate teacher in Nursery A. Before coming to Poly, Katherine spent two years teaching Kindergarten at an International American school in Dubai and a year teaching preschool at Friends School Haverford in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She graduated from Earlham College in 2015 with a bachelor’s in peace and global studies. After college, she spent a year as a Fellow with Quaker Voluntary Service in Boston and worked at a non-profit focused on dialogue and conflict management. Katherine is in the process of earning her MS.Ed. in early childhood general and special education from Bank Street College of Education.
