Poly Prep’s Deans
Our students are supported by a specialized dean system deliberately structured to provide each student and family individualized guidance.
Deans help students design an academic program that best reflects each student’s interests and needs, including four-year college planning aimed at ensuring students the best possible preparation to matriculate to the colleges and universities of their choice.
Deans also act as both mentors, role models, and advocates, reflecting our understanding that education happens both in the classroom and outside of it, and necessarily takes a variety of forms. In addition to their individual work with students, our dedicated dean team also pools its expertise in order to guarantee all students a transformative, joyful high school experience.
Meet Poly Prep’s Deans
College Counseling
College counseling is an integral part of the dean’s job. Their primary focus is to work with students and families to unpack the college application process and to get ahead of it. That’s what makes our dean system so unique. We’re very proactive in our conversations with students and parents about what to expect, how the process is going to unfold, and talk about how the landscape may have changed from the time when parents applied. We know applying to college may be stressful, but our deans are here to help navigate it with ease!
